Obama Blog

The 08’ campaign can hardly even enter discussion without hearing the name Obama. As Senator of Illinois Obama has already shown that leadership is nothing new to him. In the state, Obama worked with Democrats and Republicans to create the state Earned Income Tax program. In three years the program was able to provide $100 million dollars in tax cuts to families across the state. With his presidency he plans to tackle issues concerning America such as civil rights, defense, economy, education, healthcare, and immigration just to name a few. Throughout the blog are links, pictures, and entries all highlighting the presidential candidate. Obama’s campaign is based on the statement, “A Change We Can Believe In.” By running for President, Obama has not only stirred up the minds of people who already vote, but stirred up those who never thought to vote before. When people attend events hosting Obama, they not only learn and listen, but are impacted. They are able to register on hand causing the presidential candidate to encourage people to vote who never thought to vote before. It is now rare to turn on a television, search the web, read a magazine, or even engage in a conversation without hearing about candidate Barack Obama. The candidate gains supporters daily through his speaking. Many first-time voters were amazed and astonished at what he hopes to bring to the country. However, the amazing part of it all is that they believe. The 08’ Obama campaign sees no race, sex, or any other barrier or stereotype. They only see Americans.
